	<title>Debt Management Company</title>
	<description>
We didn't know what a debt management company even was
But thank God we found out before we lost everything. It almost came to that. Generations of blood, sweat and tears have been spent working this land, driving these cattle, making ends meet. Almost all for naught. Rising property taxes and two bad years in a row - never had we been hit with droughts that bad back-to-back - left us in the hole. Fortunately, Mack down at the General Store told me about this debt management company that helped him save his shop when he fell on hard times. I decided to give them a call. Then to go meet them in person because I wasn't comfortable dealing with a debt management company over the phone.

What I found out was both scary and enlightening. I was in severe debt, the management company said, and on the verge of having to foreclose. I said I know just what clothes is for. He said I have no idea what I am talking about.

Ultimately, though, he made his point and I hired his debt management company
Bottom line, we weren't making enough to pay the bills and had rung up some pretty serious debt. Mack's buddy got us set up on a nice debt management program quick, though, and the benefits immediately began to take shape. And a good thing, too. We were losing money each month on the damn credit cards... which I told everyone were gonna be the end of us. I didn't know just how bad they were until the debt management company representatives showed me, of course. I just like to say everything is gonna bring about the end of the world. It's what I do. But I'm rambling again. My point is that our debt management company did a terrific job.

They consolidated all our bills, so we only had one to deal with each month.
Not only that, but our debt management company arranged for that consolidated balance to be reduced by 38 percent -- a big sum, one large enough to save us the embarrassment of having to sell some cattle to make the mortgage.
I cannot thank my debt management company and its personnel enough, because in addition to doing all the legwork, they sat down with me and showed me how I can save all kinds of money by just managing money a little better on my own.
